Gilded Rituals

Led by Lucien Velvet and Seraphine Voss, with Adrian Veil and Vesper Saint shaping the sound behind the masks, SOMERVAL inhabits the border between an exclusive nocturnal club, a glamorous secret society and a beautifully controlled act of surrender.

Their debut album, Gilded Rituals, unfolds as a complete ceremony. The invitation is delivered. The doors close. Names are abandoned. Mirrors begin to speak. Bodies gather beneath black velvet, candlelight and gold. Across ten tracks, dark disco, electronic soul, ritual house, alternative R&B and cinematic electro-rock collide through massive analog basslines, seductive vocals, dramatic strings, distorted guitars and choirs that sound as though they were recorded inside a forbidden sanctuary.

The immediate fever of Holy Fever, the decadent gospel of Black Velvet Gospel, the dance-floor salvation of Saint of the Dancefloor and the hypnotic climax of Midnight Sacrament lead toward one final revelation: once the ritual begins, there is No Exit from Love.

Gilded Rituals introduces one of the most sensual, theatrical and dangerous new identities in the Kinetic Distro roster.

Enter willingly. Leave transformed.
